Prep Time: Cooking Time:
Nutrition facts: 200 calories 20 grams fat

  • 90 g dry dates, pitted
  • 100 g shredded coconut
  • 40 g coconut butter
  • 200 ml soy milk
  • 15 g coconut butter
  • 140 g dark 70% chocolate (you can use also dark 50%)

  • Place dry dates into a bowl and cover them by hot water. Put aside for 15 minutes. The dates will soak the water, so they will be easy to blend.
  • After, throw away the water and place dates into a food processor, together with shredded coconut and coconut butter. Blend until a smooth and sticky batter, it might take about 5-7 minutes.
  • Divide the batter into 6 small bowls of the same size.
  • Place them into small cake molds (I used the paper cups, that I placed in the cupcake tray).
  • Push the batter into sides, creating a round & regular shape, with the hole in the centre.
  • Pour milk into a small saucepan and bring it to a boil. Switch off the heat, add chocolate, coconut butter and keep stirring with a whisk until the chocolate completely melts.
  • Pour the chocolate cream into the prepared coconut tarts and put aside to settle for 30 minutes.
  • The chocolate cream will settle and get dense and you can gently take the tarts out from the cake mold.
  • You can decorate the tarts with some shredded coconut

The amount of ingredients is exactly for 6 mini tarts. Double the amount if you need more. If you have some chocolate left, just pour it into a mini glass and let it settle, it will be a super yummy chocolate cream you can enjoy with a spoon! 🙂

This no-bake recipe is gluten-free, grain-free, naturally sweetened, no extra sugar in the chocolate cream, dairy-free, vegan/plant-based.
